Bounty SMP is an esports service and competitive Minecraft server focused on skill-based PvP competitions. It's important to understand the following key points about our service:

  • Esports Focus: The primary purpose is to provide a competitive gaming environment with skill-based competitions, not to facilitate gambling or wagering.
  • Bounty System: Bounties are purely an in-game status/mechanic where players may see a number or value associated with other players. These values hold no inherent monetary value and are part of the game's competitive mechanics.
  • No Guaranteed Value: The presence of a bounty on a player does not represent any obligation, promise, or guarantee of monetary payment or reward of any kind.
  • Free Access: There is no cost to enter, play, or participate in the server's bounty system or competitions.
  • No Gambling: The service does not involve gambling, wagering, or any form of financial speculation.
  • Skill-Based Competition: All competitions and bounties are based on player skill, not chance.
  • Monetization: Revenue is generated through the sale of cosmetic items, ranks, and subscription memberships, which help fund the esports ecosystem.

By accessing or using the Bounty SMP server ("Server") and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Monetization & Prize Structure

2.1 Revenue Model

Bounty SMP generates revenue through:

  • Sale of cosmetic items
  • Rank purchases
  • Subscription memberships

2.2 Prize Pool Funding

  • The prize pool is funded exclusively from server revenue
  • All purchases are purely cosmetic with no gameplay advantages
  • Competition participation is free and open to all players regardless of purchase history

2.3 Sponsored Events

Bounty SMP may host sponsored events with the following guidelines:

  • Sponsorships may fund prize pools, tournament formats, or special events
  • All sponsored content is clearly disclosed
  • Server maintains full editorial control over all events
  • Sponsorships do not guarantee event approval or specific outcomes
  • All events maintain skill-based competition integrity

3. Bounty System & Payouts

3.1 Nature of Bounties

Bounties in Bounty SMP are strictly an in-game mechanic with the following characteristics:

  • Bounties represent an in-game status where a player has a number/value displayed in the game interface
  • Bounties hold zero monetary value and do not represent any financial obligation
  • Bounties are not redeemable for cash or any other form of compensation unless explicitly stated otherwise by Bounty SMP in writing
  • The collection of a bounty is simply a game mechanic that may be recognized by the server's systems

3.2 No Guarantee of Payouts

Bounty SMP makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding any payments or rewards in connection with bounties. The company reserves the absolute and unconditional right to:

  • Choose whether or not to issue any payments to any player for any reason
  • Modify, suspend, or terminate the bounty system at any time without notice
  • Determine in its sole discretion whether any bounty has been validly collected
  • Refuse payment for any reason, including but not limited to:
    • Suspected fraud, cheating, or exploitation
    • Violation of server rules or these Terms
    • Technical issues or errors
    • Disputes between players
    • Any other reason at Bounty SMP's sole discretion

3.3 Discretionary Rewards

Any payments made by Bounty SMP to players are:

  • Made solely at the discretion of Bounty SMP
  • Considered promotional in nature to encourage engagement and competition
  • Not required by these Terms or any other agreement
  • Subject to change or termination at any time without notice

4. No Refunds

All payments made to Bounty SMP, including donations and purchases, are non-refundable. By making a payment, you acknowledge it as a voluntary contribution with no expectation of return unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by Bounty SMP.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

  • Account Information: Username, email, profile data
  • Payment Information: Processed by third-party providers
